VA Tech Wabag wins Rs.340 crore GAIL water project

VA Tech Wabag Limited

VA Tech Wabag has secured a Rs.340 crore Design, Build, and Operate (DBO) contract from GAIL (India) Limited to establish water treatment and effluent recycling plants at GAIL’s petrochemical complex in Pata, Uttar Pradesh. The project includes an Effluent Recycle Plant, a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) Plant, a new Wastewater Treatment Plant, and the augmentation of an existing one. The EPC phase is expected to take 24 months, followed by 6 months of O&M.
