Vizianagaram-Titlagarh 3rd Line Project

East Coast Railway (ECoR)

The Vizianagaram-Titlagarh 3rd Line Project (264.6 km) is being executed by East Coast Railway (ECoR). Approved in May 2016, the project aims for completion by December 31, 2025. As of March 2025, 143.263 km has been commissioned. Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) is handling balance civil works between Rayagada and Bobbili. The project decongests key railway corridors and improves freight movement across Odisha and Andhra Pradesh.
