Water Supply Projects Sanctioned for Sringeri Constituency

The Sringeri Assembly region in Chikkamagaluru is set to receive major water infrastructure upgrades. Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, Rs 60 crore has been allocated for drinking water supply across Sringeri, Koppa, and Narasimharajapura taluks. Additionally, Rs 700 crore has been sanctioned for a permanent water supply pipeline drawing from the Bhadra and Tunga rivers. These projects aim to eliminate recurring drinking water shortages in the constituency.
