Waterway Project Launched: Dombivli Jetty Construction Begins, Aiming for 2025 Completion

The Maharashtra Maritime Board has commenced construction of a jetty in Dombivli’s Mothagaon area, with a Rs. 22 crore allocation from the Maharashtra state’s Rs. 119 crore water transport project. This initiative, part of the broader Sagar Mala scheme, aims to enhance connectivity between Dombivli, Thane, Bhiwandi, and Vasai via ferry services along the Vasai Creek and Ulhas River.
