Western Railway installs 2.722 MW rooftop solar systems

Western Railway’s Vadodara Division has installed rooftop solar plants with a combined capacity of 2.722 MWp across stations and railway facilities during the year 2025-26. The installations are expected to generate about 3.64 million units of electricity annually. The project supports renewable energy adoption across railway infrastructure.
