Yettinahole Project Pipeline Works Underway

The Yettinahole drinking water project has entered the execution phase, with pipeline works currently underway over nearly 250 km. The project involves storage of water near Koratagere in Tumakuru district, followed by onward pumping. It has an allocated capacity of 20 TMC and is prioritised for drinking water supply. Administrative and technical hurdles faced earlier have been resolved, enabling construction activities to progress. The project is part of the states large-scale inter-basin water transfer infrastructure.
