NHIDCL seeks ToR amendment for Brahmaputra tunnel project

NHIDCL has applied for an extension and amendment to the existing Terms of Reference (ToR) for its proposed 4-lane tunnel under the Brahmaputra River, connecting Gohpur (NH-15) and Numaligarh (NH-715) in Assam. The amendment seeks approval to conduct the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) study through the Wildlife Institute of India (WII) or another reputed institute.
