MP Cabinet clears Rs. 2,813 crore boost for Jal Jeevan Mission

The Madhya Pradesh Cabinet has approved an additional Rs. 2,813 crore for Jal Jeevan Mission, revising the total project cost to Rs. 9,027 crore from Rs. 6,214 crore. Out of 27,990 single village tap water schemes, 15,947 are complete and work continues on 12,043. The Cabinet also cleared 148 group water supply schemes worth Rs. 60,786 crore and 27,990 single village schemes costing Rs. 20,765 crore.
