Hyderabad Plans ORR Water Ring Main Project

Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board has prepared a detailed project report for a 140-km water ring main along the Outer Ring Road. The project, estimated at about ?8,000 crore, proposes interconnection of major water sources including Godavari, Krishna, Manjeera, Osmansagar, and Himayatsagar into a closed-loop system. A 98-km radial network is also proposed to connect interior areas to the main ring.
