MP launches Rs 1,133 crore Hariyakhedi water project in Ujjain

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav performed the Bhoomi Pujan for the Rs 1,133.67 crore Hariyakhedi Water Augmentation Project in Ujjain on 11 February, 2026. The project aims to ensure clean drinking water supply during Simhastha-2028 and provide long-term water availability for city residents. The Chief Minister also inaugurated 11 additional development works worth Rs 47.23 crore to strengthen infrastructure ahead of the event.
