1350 MW pumped storage project under construction in Andhra Pradesh

Construction is underway for a 1350 MW pumped storage project in the Alluri Sitarama Raju district. The facility will include nine reversible turbine units of 150 MW each and will utilize the Guntawada and Donkarayi reservoirs to store surplus electricity and release power during peak demand periods, supporting grid stability.
