Copper Anode and Cathode Production Expansion at Bharuch

Hindalco Industries has proposed expansion of copper anode production capacity at its Birla Copper complex located at Lakhigam and Dahej villages, Taluka Vagra, District Bharuch, Gujarat. The project involves increasing copper anode capacity from 5.75 LTPA to 8.92 LTPA, and increase copper cathode capacity from 5 LTPA to 8.5 LTPA. Environmental clearance is sought for the proposed expansion.
