Adani Enterprises to develop Kedarnath ropeway project

Adani Enterprises has received a letter of award from National Highways Logistics Management for its maiden ropeway project under the National Ropeways Development Programme. The 12.9 km ropeway will link Sonprayag with Kedarnath, reducing travel from 8–9 hours to 36 minutes. With six years for construction and 29 years of operation, the facility will handle 1,800 passengers per hour per direction, improving pilgrimage access and boosting regional tourism infrastructure in Uttarakhand.
