Western Coalfields has proposed expansion of the New Majri UG to OC coal mine located at Shivaji Nagar Village, Bhadrawati Tehsil, Chandrapur District, Maharashtra. The present proposal seeks expansion of production capacity from 3.00 MTPA to 3.60 MTPA (Phase-I, up to 20%) within an ML area of 679.26 ha.
