Delhi allocates Rs. 674 crore to upgrade fire services infrastructure

Delhi Government has allocated Rs. 674 crore to upgrade fire department infrastructure across the city. The project includes procurement of 17 water bowsers and specialised equipment such as multi-articulated fire towers and Hazmat vehicles. The plan also includes establishment of new fire stations and deployment of 26 Quick Response Vehicles to strengthen emergency response capabilities in congested urban zones.
