Delhi sanctions Rs. 125 crore drainage upgrade

The Delhi government has sanctioned a Rs. 125 crore project to remodel storm water drainage across 25 km of Ring Road and Outer Ring Road in North Delhi. Covering key stretches linking Civil Lines, Kashmere Gate, ITO, and Outer Delhi, the initiative will follow the Delhi Drainage Master Plan 2025. The upgrade aims to prevent monsoon flooding, ease traffic congestion, and strengthen urban flood resilience infrastructure.
