NTPC-SAIL Power Company has proposed an amendment to the existing environmental clearance for its 2 × 20 MW coal-based captive power plant located at Durgapur, Burdwan District, West Bengal. The amendment relates to exemption for installation of the Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) system in accordance with G.S.R. 465(E) dated 11.07.2025.
