Chhattisgarh Steel & Power has proposed upgradation of its existing ferro alloy unit from 2×16.5 MVA to 2×18 MVA with enhanced production capacities including FeSi – 28,000 TPA, FeMn – 60,000 TPA, SiMn – 54,000 TPA, FeCr – 54,000 TPA and pig iron – 60,000 TPA, at its facility located at Amjhar Village, Champa Tehsil, Janjgir-Champa district. Environmental clearance is sought for the proposed upgradation.
