Fisheries Dept, FAO Launch Rs 369.8 Crore Blue Ports Plan

The Department of Fisheries and FAO have signed a Technical Cooperation Programme to strengthen the blue port framework. Pilot ports at Vanakbara, Karaikal, and Jakhau will be developed with Rs 369.8 crore investment, supported by capacity-building and advanced technologies.
