FLS Completed for Laying of Rangpo-Gangtok Rail Tracks

Northeast Frontier Railways (NFR)

The Final Location Survey (FLS) for the 34.7 km rail line between Rangpo and Gangtok has been completed and is awaiting approval. Once approved, tenders will be floated for the project. Meanwhile, construction of the Sevoke-Rangpo section is progressing, with plans to open the route by December 2026.
