Goa govt approves GAILs 150 TPD CBG plant project

The Goa government has granted approval to Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) to set up a 150 tonnes per day (TPD) compressed bio-gas (CBG) plant in the state. GAIL has proposed a 25-year concession agreement with the Goa Waste Management Corporation (GWMC) for the uninterrupted supply of segregated organic municipal waste and land lease at a nominal cost. The project requires a land parcel of approximately 10 acres and 150 TPD of segregated organic waste for viability.
