Gujarat Launches Rs. 805-Crore ShantipuraKhodiyar Highway Project

The Gujarat government has begun construction of the Rs. 805-crore ShantipuraKhodiyar GIDC six-lane highway in Sanand. Spanning 28.8 km, the project by GSRDC will include six-laning, 22.73 km of service roads, five underpasses, and a six-lane flyover. Designed to decongest the busy four-lane route carrying 43,000 vehicles daily, it will enhance connectivity to industrial hubs like Viramgam and Surendranagar, improving safety, fuel efficiency, and regional logistics movement.
