The Reay Road road over bridge (ROB), Mumbais first land-based cable-stayed bridge, was inaugurated on 13 May 2025. Built at a cost of Rs. 273 crore by MRIDC, the 385-metre-long, six-lane structure eases east-west congestion in South Mumbai. Connecting Mahul Road and Barrister Nath Pai Marg, it spans the Harbour railway line, linking Byculla East to Mazgaon. Construction began in February 2022 and was completed in just over two years, combining modern design with functionality.
