The Railway Board evaluates the construction progress of the BhairabiSairang New railway line project, with completion reaching 93%. Spanning 51.38 km in Mizoram, the project includes 55 major bridges and 87 minor bridges. Indian Railways plays a pivotal role in enhancing Northeastern connectivity, aligning with the capital connectivity projects and the ‘Act East Policy’ of the Government of India.
