Rs. 1,133 crore Hariyakhedi water project launched

The Hariyakhedi Water Augmentation Project in Ujjain has been launched with an investment of Rs. 1,133.67 crore. The scheme aims to ensure uninterrupted drinking water supply during Simhastha-2028 and provide long-term water security for the city. Designed to strengthen urban water infrastructure, the project will augment supply capacity and improve distribution systems. Additionally, 11 allied infrastructure works worth Rs. 47.23 crore have been undertaken to upgrade civic facilities ahead of the event.
