Tata Motors plans to establish a new manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu, aiming to produce up to 2.5 lakh vehicles annually at full capacity. The facility will focus on next-generation models for both Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) and Tata Motors, utilizing the Electrified Modular Architecture (EMA) platform, with a primary emphasis on electric vehicles. Production is set to commence gradually, with full capacity anticipated within 5 to 7 years.
