TN Chief Minister Lays Foundation for 493 New Projects in Chennai

Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin recently laid the foundation stone for 493 new projects, including the restoration of Marina Beach as a Blue Flag-certified beach and the improvement of 291 Amma canteens. The inaugurated projects, valued at ?29.8 crore, include parks, sports grounds, and two restored water bodies. Under the Singara Chennai 2.0 initiative, 1,012 projects worth ?901 crore were completed in three years. Upcoming initiatives include revamping 10 pedestrian pathways, installing 7,644 street name boards, and upgrading 148 schools.
