Power Sector News India

Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) will augment capacity at the Thrissur VSC HVDC station in Kerala under the regulated tariff mechanism. The Rs. 170 crore scheme involves installing a third 500 MVA, 400/220kV interconnecting transformer (ICT), two 220kV line bays, and expanding the 220kV GIS hall for six additional bays.
