Telangana Targets 20,000 MW Renewables by 2030

The Telangana State government plans to generate 20,000 MW of green energy and create 1.14 lakh jobs by 2030 through an investment of ?1.98 lakh crore under the Clean and Green Energy Policy–2025. The initiative focuses on expanding renewable energy capacity and promoting inclusive growth. Solar power plants of 2 MW each are being established under the Indira Mahila Shakti Scheme, while solar pump sets are being installed under the Indira Solar Girijana Vikasam Scheme to benefit about 550 tribal farmers in Khammam district.
