Andhra Pradesh to develop tent cities at heritage sites

Andhra Pradesh has submitted DPRs worth Rs. 77.32 crore for tent cities at Buddhist heritage sites in Guntur, Visakhapatnam, and Srikakulam. Additionally, 14 experience centres will be developed, with the first phase covering Kondapalli, Kuchipudi, Mangalagiri, Cheerala, Bapatla, and Araku Valley to promote local culture. Currently, 88 tourism projects worth Rs. 698 crore are ongoing. These initiatives aim to enhance tourism infrastructure, support cultural preservation, and attract investment in Andhra Pradeshs heritage and tourism sector.
