AP CM Naidu Plans Ports Every 50 km to Boost Economy

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has outlined a strategy to develop ports or fishing harbours every 50 km along the states 1,000 km coastline, aiming to foster economic growth and infrastructure development. Additionally, a ship-building and repair cluster is proposed at Dugarajapatnam in Nellore, with an investment of Rs. 3,500 crore. The project is expected to generate Rs. 26,000 crore in investments, create 5,000 direct jobs, and 30,000 indirect employment opportunities.
